
At the conclusion of the NBA regular season, once again Dominican representing the best basketball in the world pulls the face.
In the 2010-2011 season, the basketball Dominicans played a leading role in their respective teams.
Al Horford finished the regular season with an average of baskets per game: 15.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.0 Blocks in 77 games, with an average of 35 minutes on court.
Francisco Garcia in a season opener alternate and shared with the Sacramento Kings, average: 9.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 23.9 minutes of action.
Garcia this season was limited to participating in 58 games by injury problems.
Dominican-born Trevor Ariza averaged percentage : 11 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 2.4 assists in 34.7 minutes per game, played in 75 games.
Charlie Villanueva saw action in 76 games for an average of 21.9 minutes of play on the court. Likewise, baskets averaged 11.1 per game, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
In the case of Villanueva, who plays for the Detroit Pistons finished the regular five-game suspension without pay for initiating an altercation on the field of play.
Two of the four Creoles who play in the NBA, will continue beyond the regular season, Al Horford of Atlanta and Trevor Ariza. New Orleans will say this in the playoffs.
